storyline
| 1000 years ago, the world was in a vast war known
as the War of the Magi where, in the end, the entire
world lost all known magic and also had lost vast
amounts of technology with it. Now, 1000 years later, the world has regained many of its lost technologies along with inventing new and more powerful weapons at an alarming rate. With the world striving to regain its former glory after the horrific war, one nation, the Empire, is currently at war with rebel factions across the world who wishes to take down the power-hungry nation. Lead by an insane general who has a grip over the leader, will destroy anyone who gets in their way of power. With the finding of an ancient Esper, a seemingly vital source of "magic", the Empire is poised to take full control of this mysterious power no matter what. Thus starts the story of Final Fantasy VI where a group of people from different backgrounds must unite together to prevent the world from being destroyed. Will the world be saved or is it doomed to be destroyed. |
